From Topeka, KS, Kage found his passion for music in his early teenage years, taking drum lessons and quickly diving into high school Jazz and Pep bands, where his skills earned him the Outstanding Musicianship Award at the Washburn University Jazz Festival.

Over the years, he has played in different bands and eventually began writing, recording, and releasing his own music, teaching himself guitar and piano along the way. As a teacher, Kage hopes to help others discover their passion and reach their musical goals.

When he's not teaching, you can catch him doing freelance work, making music videos for social media, or jamming out live on Twitch. He loves improvising to a wide variety of genres, with his favorites being Swing, Latin, Fusion, Funk, and Metal. An avid gamer, Kage also enjoys streaming all types of games—especially horror! Outside of music and gaming, he finds peace in the outdoors, enjoying activities like fishing and camping.
