Born and educated in Mexico City, Dalia is a classical pianist and piano teacher with over two decades of experience in both areas. As a professional pianist, she has been awarded at piano competitions, participated in master classes with outstanding teachers from all over the world and played on stages in Mexico, Colombia and Canada.
As a teacher, she has encouraged numerous students from a broad range of ages to win prizes in competitions, international festivals and scholarships, but at the same time, she has had the opportunity to make dozens of students fall in love with music.
Before moving to the USA in early 2024, she worked as a piano teacher for students from 6 years old to university level in the areas of piano solo, ensembles, music education, composition and ethnomusicology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Although she has a masters in piano performance with emphasis in 20th Century Soviet Music, her approach to music is not only classical.
